Lisa Fabiano is a visual artist originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, living and working in Colorado since 1982. She studied Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, leaving there to pursue long-held artistic aspirations. She has been creating art in Colorado for over 25 years.
Lisa describes her creative style as color-centric abstraction with philosophical, psychological, and metaphysical undertones. She is most interested in connections between the material world and human consciousness, and shares her perceptual experiences through her abstract paintings. Lisa finds creative inspiration via contemplation, cultural studies, and material engagement. She works in oils, acrylics, drawing media, and collage.
Lisa has exhibited work in many solo and group shows, including but not limited to, at Auric Gallery, G44 Gallery, Kreuser Gallery, Surface Gallery, and in the Deco Lounge and the Museum Shop at The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.
